I bought a cheap bandsaw off of Amazon. It did well enough for wood, but I wanted to be able to cut metal with it. I printed a bigger pulley and ordered a longer belt. It allowed me to cut stainless this weekend, although the blade was dead by the end. I think I need to go one step bigger.

Iâve also done a bunch of toolbox organizing over the years.

The AC vents in my house were extremely noisy, so I printed a low restriction version. It helped the temperature balance in the house as well.

How about a Glock shaped bottle opener?

This is one of the most useful things Iâve printed. These shims go from 1/16 to 5/8 by 1/32. I use them all the time, but mainly because the people who built this house didnât own a level, or even a straight edge.

You used the same contractor that built my house?..Shouldâve asked me, Iâd have advised you against itâŚ
When they poured the slab, the workers must have taken the day off, and the concrete truck just dumped the load and left. There is a spot in the middle of the kitchen that is 1" higher than the low spot 8â away. It made tiling the kitchen a lot of fun.
Good, water wonât puddle in the kitchen.

Orient all those batteries in the same direction and get that green one out of that tray!

Thatâs a slippery slope! If I start aligning batteries then where does the madness end?

If you figure it out, please let me know.

LOL!
The screws⌠this was xactly what I/we did in construction remodels⌠yeah, totally useless but I got use to having all the screw slots vertical!
So, of course, any home Iâve lived in, theyâre vertical.
A friend of ours noticed this and twisted about 10 of them off kilter⌠![]()
Yeah, a coworker leaves his house/car keyring on his desk and all the keys are oriented the same way. One day I flipped oneâŚSure enough the next day it was fixed.
I think I prefer the screws oriented this way:

This looks like a fun and useful project..

Yup, you can tell if an electrician does good work if he orients all his screws vertically! Shows he pays attention to detail!

Thatâs cool! Did you model that yourself?
