There is a #Watermark tool in #SolidWorks. Do you use it to add watermark to your document.

Your comments on why not using and for what purpose (if using) are welcome.

sngCF What watermark feature are you talking about? There are ways to do it with a note on the sheet format but not a specific function I’m aware of.

Never heard of such thing..?

I got coffee mark on my drawings …

You mean this?

Or this:

OS my answer would be:
No. Didn’t even know it’s there.

Yes, I am referring to both.

Didn’t see this in time to reply to the poll. We use a note on the drawing sheet that says “DRAFT” until the drawing is released. Then we toggle it to " ". We have a toggle set up in our custom properties tab builder to do the toggle.

We often send out drawings for quote or customer review before release. We do track draft revisions, so we can tell draft drawing versions apart.

Somehow this seems to have slipped by me when it was first posted. I have a sheet format with a big note diagonally across the sheet they says it’s preliminary. When the drawing is approved I change to a sheet format without that note (and I always, 100% of the time, have to do a Ctrl+Q rebuild to make it actually go away after switching sheet formats).
