My manager has been approached by a UK-based VAR (https://www.technia.com/en/) who are trying to get our business away from our current VAR (https://www.solidsolutions.co.uk/). Nothing too unusual about that.
What was unusual was the line in their email, “..with what is going on with the investigation with certain SOLIDWORKS resellers at the moment, I thought now would be a good time to reach out..”
Which is news to me. Has anyone heard of anything weird going on with VARs at the moment? Was this some weird tactic just to try and get a meeting out of us?
