I think the downvote is prone to abuse.
They could ask VARs to downvote to rig the whole thing more than it could be now. Also there are people that downvote for many reasons, like throttle threads visibility or just to be mean to others.
Even so they could make dummy accounts on the platform, I think nobody cares if you do not own solidworks and just register to vote right?
Probably it is really better to use enhancement requests and close the whole circus.
NX is getting further and further in the rear view mirror, so I may not be remembering correctly. My understanding is they took the list of enhancement requests. Filtered the list down (I assume) and put those ideas in front of the community to vote, via email. You didn’t have to be active on a forum to participate. They sent you an email. You spent a few minutes clicking through a survey. That’s it. I feel like they got way more feedback from the general masses, and it wasn’t anywhere near as prone to abuse by upvoting.
This was back in the GTAC days. I have no idea how it is done now.

How have you come about these numbers.?
I’ve looked for these stats and how to see the highest/lowest voted items and did not find a way.
It’s probably obvious and I just don’t see it in front of my face.
Admittedly, I’m a bit of a dunce sometimes.
You gotta use the search at the top, then filter by likes, then manually select the highest quantities. Very intuitive. It’s private now so we can’t see the Top10 anymore.
Alex gave the rundown for finding the numbers for the active TTL (before they closed the community).
For the previous year stats it’s somehow even more ridiculous.
Go to the Enhancement Requests community.
Open up the Tags system.
Find the “Where” sub-menu, then User Tags, then “3DXW2024”
Then go to the “How” sub-menu (obviously!), then User Tags, then select the highest value entry…which of course can’t be sorted numerically (but this minor flaw is being fixed in a forthcoming version of Swym).
And then you open up the idea to double check it’s rank in the relevant year!

Last time, and probably this time, it was some Turkish VARs employees padding the votes for MBD. No way these are top ten 10. Of course the 3dx site is lousy for doing this kind of survey. Dassault should use a survey site dedicated for this type of thing.
Did anyone go to 3DXW and find out what the final published TTL was?

I’d like to see a breakdown of “implemented TTL ideas” that actually started in the top ten, vs those that were submitted as ERs years previously and just so happened to end up in the TTL at a later date and then implemented.
They tried peddling that line last year and something like 8/10 were from the legacy ER system.
