Thanks for trying, but as Alin said, voting is closed now. The site is taken down as soon as that happens.
Is it my imagination that the vote counts used to be far higher?
It varied every year. This year was pretty good based on historical standards.
For what it’s worth there’s been a substantial drop in Idea submission quantity since the move to 3DSwym, last one on Jive had 726 vs. 383 this year.
But can you connect it to the internet, like I can my gas range?
Yeah, I totally missed the memo and didn’t get to submit any.
Anyone capture what the official Top Ten was?
Would like to know as wel, but there is not much response.
Nobody?
Working on addin to 3DX SW to remote flush the toilet at home.
That’s probably as good a use of your time as trying to do work over at 3DXP…
Here is the list.

Thanks for posting that. I know everyone’s workflow is different, but I don’t see anything there to get excited about.
5 (if done properly
) will cut out quite a lot of time when something goes wrong, and I’m personally pleased 7 is in there as it was one of my ideas.
1 would be helpful. I’m sure if it were an easy fix they would have done it a decade ago.
I’m baffled that a product I’ve never heard of anyone using is in the top 10 (Treehouse.) Maybe it is very popular, and so intuitive and robust that no one has any questions.
I would trade everything on that list for fewer crashes and less “Solidworks is busy”.
You mean like Solid Edge did ~ two decades ago?

I’m not just saying this because it’s yours, but #7 is my favorite of the ones on the list. It just wouldn’t help me much because I pretty much fully define everything as I go.
Number 1 is good if they also work on reattaching any dimension manually and making that work…while they’re in that part of the code.
Good point. Letting SW “automatically” doing something isn’t always recommended. (Like when it decides my mates are wrong and “fixes” them for me.)
Yeah, 25 years ago, all of the CAD vendors were promising that their products were getting so smart that the drawings would create themselves and you wouldn’t need drafters anymore. 25 years later…
Maybe AI will finally fulfill that promise, right before it decides to exterminate humanity.
