Top Ten List '23

It’s 1-3 for me. There’s no good way to sort and find the ideas that may be relevant to what I want.
If they want more participation, maybe they should listen to their customers…I’ve posted it before…If only DennisD had done his job and let them know how to fix that platform, they’d have much more participation.

I add my vote to your idea to blame DennisD =)

I don’t recall SolidWorks sending out emails or advertising voting in any way. Maybe I missed it, but I get plenty of emails about 3dx that I don’t need or want.

I agree with the sentiment in the theory but it probably would not matter if people actually voted!

As we see at the moment, because so few people vote there are a lot of reseller votes and some strategic ones at that.

So the the real answer is to get people voting, what would fix that engagement.

I was a huge proponent for using the TTL and the ER system. The 3DSwamp is just so convoluted that I rarely even go there. For the simple needs of a general forum that thing fails. It is bloatware on steroids. It takes far too much dedication to use it. My hat’s off to those of you that do navigate it.

And no, I don’t use a flip phone. And yes, I can still set the clock on my VCR!

you mean DVR?

If you are a TriMech Solutions client who subscribes to our newsletter, you received the email about TTL.
Or, at least we sent it to your email address. :ugeek:

At least some ideas reached 100 votes.

I voted for ones that people put links to here, but trying to navigate that mess to find specific topics is impossible. They need a summary page with links so you can browse quickly for things that actually pertain to you. I started scrolling through the ideas there to try to vote for other things, but a lot are PDM and we don’t use PDM. I don’t have all day to to find them.

Here are mine, if you’d like to take a look (none are PDM related; we don’t use it here either):

What type of ideas are of interest to you? We can easily filter them using tags and provide you a link.

Or they could have just organised them into separate sectors like any normal person would expect ‘General features’ ‘PDM’ ‘MBD’ ‘Routing’ ‘Weldments’ ‘Simulation’ and so on

Yes people could use tags but as we know getting people engaged is the problem.

Like they were on the old much-missed forum?

Wow, TTL-list is gone right after the voting has stopped. Wonder what has shifted in the last minute.
