I have changed the default style for guests to Prolight. I’m thinking of using this as the basis for a new custom style for us. To see this theme, either set your own theme in the user control panel to Prolight or sign out, then sign back in and your personal selected theme will return.

Plus, if you look up in the upper right corner, there’s a moon shape, which lets you take it dark. I’m going to test this theme and see how it goes. So far, I like it. If you want to send me some images of models you’ve worked on to put together into a header, that would be a help. Otherwise I’ll use my own models.

I noticed the same thing. Though I do like the Prolight theme. It looks a little bit more modern and professional.

Nice work matt! I really like this new Dark theme. I just noticed it in the upper right corner.

The cool thing is that it just inverts all css colors, so it can be used with any theme. If you use it with a dark theme, it turns light. Use it with Carbon, and it comes out a gray tone. I think it helps make more people happy with a limited number of themes.

I’m going to cut back some of the crazier color schemes I think.

The dark version is way too dark, the borders need to stand out more and the background needs to be a shader lighter then the post backgrounds or vice versa.

[sarc]I suppose you complained about the icon color change that SW made a few years back, too.[/sarc] Only thing, I don’t like is the blue banner at the top. But, I’m pretty sure I can change that.
Have you guys tried tweaking the colors before changing it to Dark?

So, I’m sure you’ll find something that works. Keep in mind you couldn’t do any of this on the old forum, to my knowledge…

Really, take a look here, go shopping, and I’ll add some new stuff. Writing something new isn’t really an option, we don’t have a revenue stream (yet). Unless someone is gonna volunteer, so we have to pick from available stuff.

Not trying to complain. This is a great forum.
I switched to the Carbon theme and really like it so far.

Not really a fan of the Prolight…I’m getting old and the text seems smaller and harder to read. I’ve use the flat blue and just switched to the Carbon and like both more than the Prolight.

Prolight seem to be too bright imo.
Flat blue work pretty well for me :slight_smile:

I’ve switched to Flat Gold and went for the dark version, it fits my taste, except the whitish banner that’s a little too bright, everything else stands out as I like it!

I’d be interested in what you all think of the changes to Supernova theme, light and dark.

Hey Matt,

I’m on it right now, the light mode’s looking really good with these ‘‘soft colors’’, they mesh in really well, specially with the logo of the company I work for :stuck_out_tongue:

Dark mode’s not too bad either, but I think the banner’s a little too contrasting on the rest. I actually prefer the light mode on Supernova.
