In Win-10 file explorer, when I right hand click a file > Solidworks > Move file > (define a folder path) it works well enough. If I move a part it knows if there is an associated drawing & confirms you want that moved too which is nice (but not the other way around).
But
-
it would be nice if it would remember the last subfolder destination as a likely target for the next one. Instead it defaults to the folder the part currently resides in. So click-click-click… with every file. Is there a shorter, more efficient way or setting that controls this?
-
Because… it does not seem to like if I pre-select multiple files to move to another folder. I can see this would be problematic with re-naming but moving shouldn’t be an issue. Am I missing something?
(I’m aware of pack & go but I’m trying to physically move part files elsewhere & have any of their associations maintained to other assemblies which reference them.
