The last time I was able to get into the electrical portion of SolidWorks was the end of May. This morning I open the project up and it had a new assembly number for the main electrical enclosure that I have been fighting with to get all the wires and connections correct.
Then I was looking for the old assembly that I had 99% done and it was not to be found where it was last saved. It was able to find it for me, and restore it from that location. Then tech support assisted with re-referencing the file to the project, better than what I was thinking of just saving the old file to the new name.
The only thing that I did not get the answer on is how the file go deleted. Is there something in the 2-d or even 3d side of the program that when a file is not used in the creation of assembly files in electrical that it will remove any existing files?
