I use SaveFrom.net software to download YouTube SWX video tutorial. It is free as well. But I found some of the YouTube videos are in poor quality. Do you have experience in using any other high quality software to download videos from YouTube. I do not mind if it is not free.
I use this one:
https://www.downloadhelper.net/
You can pick video resolution to download.
Maybe the one you use has that option too.
SaveFrom.net software placed following green icon at the bottom of the YouTube video, which is convenient to download, just one click. Some times this icon is missing do you know the reason? it cannot be said video is prevented from downloading because I was able to download this video another way.

Maybe something wrong with the plug in. It did not detect the video.
I used to use Windows Explorer, it downloads the files you watch to the temp folder, but I never used it in Windows 10, if there is no change, Explorer was a nice application.
now i am using downloadhelper.
I use 4K video downloader.
If you can give link, it is better. Because there are links, associated with unwanted stuff to a computer.
I use paid version ( a friend gifted for helping him with a macro) of https://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-Download.htm and happy with it.
I am happy to see again.

Make certain your virus and firewall apps are up to date…
This open-source tool used from the command window is really nice (and frequently updated so it shouldn’t be a problem when YT changes something to block downloads in various ways - that’s the problem with most websites offering YT downloads): https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp
It may look complex with many command line parameters but you just have to type:
yt-dlp -F URL
and then:
yt-dlp -f video_format_number+audio_format_number URL
or to just download the best formats right away:
yt-dlp -S ext URL
You will need ffmpeg to merge video with audio.
I use http://tubemp3.is/ for audio downloading. It’s free. I’m sure there are similar ones that can do video, too.
