It looks like a plugin is required for signatures.
I’ll install that in the next couple of days.
sorry to be a pest. 
This plugin is now enabled. You can add/edit your signature from the profile section of your user preferences. The default setting is to not show signatures, so be sure to toggle that setting if you want to see people’s signatures.
