Sharepoint portal with QA

We want to make a internal use portal with some sw tutorial, our internal training documents, Q&A, administrative procedures and make it to be searchable somehow.

We have a company 365 tenant, what do I need to accomplish this objective in the simplest way?

what additional tools like DB or programming skills are needed.
are there some ready to use templates somewhere?

I did a little bit with sharepoint over a decade ago. It was a rather simple site, and the layout was done by dragging and dropping components. If you search, there are all sorts of templates and youtube demonstrations.

Thank you for the hint. I was looking for some valid resources and avoid to go through the jungle of youtube videos with little value for my use case.

Basically we want to build a place to use as a KB site with sharepoimt online in our 365 tenant.
I do not use youtube so much so I do not know some reputable account worth the time.

This example is from the Microsoft support site. I don’t know if it is exactly what you are looking for, but should at least get you started.

Create and edit a wiki

This appears to be a sophisticated and thorough walkthrough of setting up a knowledge base site, but I just skimmed the highlihts.

I found that link too, but since 365 has deprecated the wiki and it is no more inside our authorized apps list, I had to give up on that.

I hate the cloud, the way the provider could cut all the services with so little concern about your data.
This is probably how 3DX is going to evolve.

We are using Sharepoint with a bunch of different pages for different topics. It’s a reference for the whole company (small company about 100 people at 3 locations) with each discipline having as many sub-pages as they need. We even have a “Where is it” page that just lists where you would find things like company released procedures or NDAs. We have it set up so that anyone in the Team can edit or publish pages.

We have a company wide Microsoft Teams team that this is under. When I access the SharePoint site for that team in a browser and go to the first page we have set up (called “Start Here”) there are a bunch of linked pages. If I wanted a new one, I would just select new from the menu near the top. I took a screenshot of the menu area where we can add or edit pages.

I’m not sure if this helps get you any closer.
