One or two look interesting, especially the one that allows referencing cut list properties in custom properties.
Its kind of sad, kind of funny also. I’ve been having to explain to some within my company who seem to feel as though we are behind on our development of the software, that for solving some of our company specific problems, Solidworks has only begun offering solutions starting in 2024. (cylindrical bounding box was the feature, to be specific, that solved one of my biggest problems) Linking cut list properties to custom properties is another that would’ve been beneficial to us about 10 years ago.
There is also the Assemblies preview that has been released for those interested. Personally, I summarize all these articles into a Word to then present to my collegues so we can judge their pertinence and sometimes others can bring insight that I did not see at first glance.
oh my god, properties are going to fall apart again…
As a standard user of traditional standalone Solidworks, I’m struggling to see any must have features that will be a positive benefit.
Each year it becomes harder and harder to justify to myself the cost of renewing my license.
