Offsite storage

Greetings,

So, my annual renewal to iDrive popped up this morning. This is your typical cable provider scheme (scam) where you start with the “introductory” price, and at the end of the period, the price doubles and life goes on.

The last couple of renewals, I was able to cancel the auto renewal, and they would offer a price, just incrementally higher than I was paying and all was well.

This year was not the case.

I was paying some $75/year for 10Gb of storage, which is still very close to their “introductory” price.

Any suggestions for alternatives?

Thanks!

Google is free. You can have as many email as you want.

Proton Drive. I pay $12/mo for email, drive, vpn, etc… 510gb storage. it’s all private. all those “free” services “freely” go through your stuff to develop their software and sell you stuff…

Your second sentence just opened my eyes…

Not gonna tell you how many Google emails I got :zipper_mouth_face:
