Yesterday morning I made an announcement post which should have sent a notification to everyone. Can a few of you confirm that you received a notification for a topic with the title:

I just want to confirm that the global notification system work properly.
Nope, didn’t get anything.
Basically, there is a category called Announcements and it is set up so that only admins can create topics and all users are set to be watching for the first post of any topic in the category. So, if an admin creates a topic there, all users should be notified. The notification would be on the site (and via email if you haven’t turned off email notifications).
The site notifications are only useful if you can access the site. So, if something goes awry (e.g. the www.cadmunity.com and cadmunity.com domains not working correctly), people might think the whole site is broken. An email notification would explain the problem and the solution (use forum.cadmunity.com).
Looking at things, I may have missed a permission. I’m going to send a test announcement to see if it’s working.
