is it possible to add components to an active "isolate"?

Say several components are selected, and then an ISOLATE command is executed. Everything but those components disappears.

What if it is then decided that one of the not-isolated components needs to be isolated? Is there a way to add it to the currently active isolation without exiting and re-establishing it?

Thanks.

Simply make that component visible.

Right here. See snip.

In my case, invisible. To be fair, I think I worded my OP incorrectly.

OK, got it, visibility is the key. I never tried that, assuming that the part’s visibility would be permanently changed. I never thought that visibility in an ISOLATE was related only to that ISOLATE.

Good stuff.

Thanks.

To add to this, on the assembly toolbar is a button called “Show Hidden components”. After entering “Isolate”, you can use it to flip over to the hidden parts, select them by left clicking them, then exit the show/hide mode.

The shortcut key for this is to hold down CTRL + SHIFT+ TAB, click on the parts you want to show and release CTRL SHIFT TAB
