Is there a shortcut that hides all bodies in a model? I cannot find one, yet I seem to trip over this on a regular basis. Perhaps you’ve seen it too. It looks like this: I’m plodding along, doing my work, I give SW a command but don’t notice what I commanded, then all the bodies in my part are gone; not deleted, just hidden. I can’t figure out what causes this. Probably a typo on my part, but I don’t know what the typo is.
I think if you wanted to do this on purpose, it would require a macro. I would guess that this is a video driver issue. If you aren’t already, try rebuilding the part when this happens, v. selecting all the bodies and turning them back on.
No, it’s not something I want to have happen. It’s happening when I don’t want it to.
The bodies are actually hidden, so rebuilding doesn’t help.
Thanks for the suggestions!
How many bodies are there in your part?
At the top of the feature tree, there is a folder for bodies, one for Solid bodies and one for Surface bodies. You can right those folders and hide/u hide all bodies at once.
