we just found out we need to get a cmm here in three weeks. the best we could find is a CMMXYZ Micron II that can be here in 4. I’ve never heard of this brand, and there’s very little i could find on the web about it. Anyone here ever hear of this?
How about Laser scan.
In my other job, we use laser scan instead of CMM. Can’t get CMM big enough to check hydro turbine housing. Or ship gearbox.
we have a laser, but not accurate enough for this. we need a solid, repeatable cmm for the statistical tolerance specs
