I am making a busbar and want to put the insulation on it and I took and offset the surface by 0 for the inner surface and with 1 surface and by 1.0 for the outside surface, how do I form a solid with these 2 surfaces or is there a better way?

Hi JMOS4,
Can you post your part?
I think there are many different ways to do this, but without the part it is difficult to say.
Also, do you need this insulation to be a separate part or can it just be a separate body within the same part?
Edit to Add:
You can use “Thicken” on the 0 distance offset surface. See attached part. Thicken.SLDPRT (169 KB)
Interesting…I didn’t know you could use Intersect to solve a problem like this, considering there are 2 surfaces missing…
Yep, just verified it by using “Cap Planar Openings”…Once again proving that Intersect is the Swiss Army Knife in the SW toolbox.
