Hey folks, there’s a top executive from our HQ in Japan that is coming to our facility in June. They (meaning the whole company in JP) don’t use SW now but are beginning to open to discussion of that possibility. Our account rep for our <100 licenses is not the kind of guy who is going to be capable of a corporate strategy level discussion, plus JP is out of our VAR area anyway. Anyone have experience with more executive/enterprise level direct SW reps? Maybe even on-site in Boston? Does that exist?
Generally if its a large enough seat purchase, you may be able to get a SolidWorks direct “Client account manager” for corporate account to assist the VAR. That’s what we have.

Not sure what the threshold is. We had between 25 to 50 floating seats. Our local licenses lately have moved to a Global license managed overseas in the EU but we still have local VAR support and a US based account executive. Globally we have around 125 floating licenses.
I think it would be 100+ seats. I can try to find the details.
