Sometimes it takes me a while to find stuff. We were looking for a library, which I thought would be easy enough, but it turns out people want money for their work!?!?!
Anyway, I found this. We already have the ability to make attachments, but if you think your file is going to have appeal beyond a single thread, then put it in the upload area. It may look different in other styles, but this is how it looks in Supernova. (Download and Upload links are at the top)
This is just a starting point. Send me suggestions for additional categories, subcategories, file size limits…
We don’t have a lot of rules on this right now, but don’t make me regret that. Nothing obscene, obviously, nothing that you don’t have the right to give away. We do have “unlimited” storage space, but I’m sure there’s a limit to how unlimited that can go. I set a 20mb per file limit.
Oh, yeah, if anybody has some cool icons to use for general file types, that would be an improvement over our “world in a folder” icon default.
