Do you use a style other than default Prosilver?

Do you use a style other than the default Prosilver for this forum? If yes, leave a reply- which?

I want to get a sense for what people are using here. Early on I made a lot of styles/themes available, but later discovered that not all styles have the same features available. Some look a lot better, but don’t have things like changing the subject of reply posts, or some have better usage of icons/colors than others.

We may need to cut down the selection to simplify variables. So I just want to get a sense for what people are using. For example, I much prefer the look of the Breeze style, and I think it makes better use of color highlighting, but it doesn’t show changed post subjects.

So. What are you using?

I use Carbon. I like darker shades for browsing, easier on the eye.

I use Breeze. Carbon isn’t bad either.

Flat Style blue was the first one I clicked on and it was better than the default so that’s what I’m using.

Flat style gold

it’s better to see read-unread at the front page,
it have some “dark color” to rest my eye,

and url are easier to see in a post.

I’m using plain Flat style. Flat Style Blue is too similar to the 0DSWYM site and I’m angry at them at this moment.

matt Can we get the cool, retro CAD Forum logo on the other styles as well?

I’m using dark mode. I prefer dark backgrounds over a face full of bright, always have.

I’d answer but I see no other styles besides “dark mode” and “light mode”. Poked around the user control panel and didn’t see anything.

  • board preferences
  • edit global settings
  • My board style.

Ok. After a bunch of checking (wish it auto updated after selecting a style), I settled on Flat Gold - Dark Mode

I had to switch back to one of the default themes. Some people (mattpeneguy ) insist on using blue text and it is miserable in either the dark or light version of carbon.

Hey, matt gave us the sarcasm tag. Not having that was a huge problem for me on the old forum. So, I’m taking advantage of it here!
