Curious PDM File Explorer Issue

We recently upgraded from SW2017/PDM2019 running on Windows 10 to SW2025/PDM2025 running on Windows 11. All seemed to go well, until I noticed that right click menu items added by some of my PDM add-ins were missing.

This is strange because I do not see this issue in my test vault. I’ve added the same add-in files to both vaults and I’m logged in as the same user. Here is the production vault:

And here is the test vault:

The Print BOM menu item is provided by my add-in.

I have a another add-in that provides menu items and they show up
I’m also curious about the other differences in the menus. For example, the View File and Notify items are missing.

I don’t recall ever seeing any PDM permissions relating to this stuff, so I’m at a loss the explain what’s going on.

Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Did your menus get reset or changed in the user settings?

Not by me. However this does seem to be the problem. The File Shortcut Menu entry is completely empty:

This seems to have happened to only the File Shortcut Menu and only for one particular group. I recreated the correct entries and now everything is back to normal.

Unfortunately the UI shows it that way when editing the group and any of the users deviate from each other. The menu setting is really user specific, the group edit should applies to all users in the group.

There’s been many requests to address the… lacking of group settings in admin tool. I think I have a couple in the SWYMp, either as enhancements or lost TTLs. Posts by others as well. Tor acknowledges it needs work…

It was a fun day the day I cleared out the file menu for our design engineering group. I haven’t made more than a couple of edits to the file menu since then due to it must be done for each individual.
