I generated a section view in Sheet1 & I want to basically copy paste that same section into other Sheets for different purposes. I can’t seem to accomplish this without basically generating a new section in a new sheet. Alternatively I have saved a section view in the part file, I can see it named in my drawing view pallet, but for some reason when I drag it into drawing its the full part view, not the section view. Any suggestions?
If you use a broken out section view instead of a normal section view you can cut and paste it as many times as you want, on or across sheets.

Copy and paste the parent view and the section view to the next sheet, then Hide the parent view. You will get a pop-up asking if you also want to hide the dependent views also. Click “No.”

Copy and paste the entire sheet and make a new sheet, if not you got to copy and paste the parent since the section doesn’t have a parent on the new sheet. Or use a broken out like Jim suggested since that is part of the parent in the tree, not a separate view.
