lets say i have lots of identical rectangles inside of eachother, but i want to change 1 side of all of them… and then 1 of the dam shapes decides to move to the exact opposite direction of everyone else… so how do i change it, so that it moves with the rest of the crowd ?
although it probably does the same exact thing when i just use the select tool and change the length in there… and will be the same exact shape that likes to move away from the rest…
and the other thing with it… how do i turn the whole auto-scale dimension thing off or on? it says in the tip box that i can do it somewhere, but i have no clue where that actually is…
and of course just to make things even more “interesting”… now it doesn’t even allow me to go into the sketch view anymore? doesn’t even ask me which sketch to choose, so i cant enter into it… not that i even know which one should i select or how to even get into it…
edit: this sketch view was probably fixed by selecting some random tool like Line before and then it started to allow me to select the sketch again etc…
From what you are saying .. It seems that you are in the sync environment.
Basically you got two environments, synchronous and ordered mode.
My suggestion as beginner is to stick to one of them.
Heh, when I started using SE few years back, The Design engineer YT channel
somewhat ‘flattened’ the learning curve for me, and its exclusively using sync
These days, after lots of mistakes and practice, I most often use both, but, as always, ItDepends[tm]
