As of yesterday, I have to enter my credentials almost every time I visit. It hasn’t been 100%, but most of the time.

This is something I’ve been battling. There is no one magical setting. There are software settings, client settings, host settings, server settings and htaccess. I can’t find a definitive reference on the topic, and other admins seem unwilling to share success stories. I made another change, let me know if things change.
It seems to be working for me today.
Whatever you’ve done has fixed it for me on Firefox.
And now I’m back to being logged out every time I leave.
Same issue here…lost a bunch of stuff I typed up because when I hit submit, it decided to make me login again.
Before it would leave me logged in until I left the forums. Now it is logging me out after a short period of time.

edit: when I use the shortcuts in my browser’s favorites bar I need to log in a lot, like every time. If I use links from the forum page it self then I seem to stay logged in better.
edit again: When I do use the shortcut in the favorites bar which looks like I’m logged out, I can click the browser’s back button and I’m logged in again! I just tried it before editing my post. SPerman or jcapriotti is this the same for you?
I have a shortcut saved for the New Posts page. For the last few days every time I go back to it after closing the tab I have to log in, but so far today as long as I keep it open I can Reload it without needing to log in.

I, too, have the same issue when I close the browser and then reopen it immediately afterward, but it’s not really that big of a deal. My credentials are already populating the fields, so basically there’s nothing to enter, but to simply click to log in.

Would it help if I mentioned again how annoying this is? 
I wonder if there isn’t a bigger problem here. I’ve had to log in to McMaster’s web site the last couple of days, and I’ve not had to do that in the past.
The internet tubes are probably getting clogged up…Ya can’t back a dump truck up and dump all this data here without some consequences…
