CAD Design for Aerospace project

Building replica of a replica?
1:1?

Is anyone else getting flashbacks of the project recreating every intricate detail of the Texas School Book Depository building?

I’m waiting for JFK to popup …

He hit a bunch of sites. He actually bothered to introduce himself at one of them.

People, don’t chase ghosts here. If you can help, help, don’t track other unimportant things like mad dogs.

Just as a note, if you’re going to come in here and ask for free help for something that it sounds like you should be able to do yourself, your first move shouldn’t be to criticize the people you’re asking for help.

To convert PDF’s to DWG, I recommend using an affordable product, Print2CAD. I use this to make parts from quality PDF’s. It works best with vectored content, but it tries to handle raster content such as images as well. If all that you have is raster content, I do not recommend it.

Then it means you’re just an amateur and you don’t belong here. Hatred towards doing something for free will bring nothing for you in life, unfortunately. And that’s the first bad news.

[sarc]You’re absolutely right. He’s an amateur. [/sarc] matt has only been doing CAD since about the time it started.

And as far as not belonging here, it’s his forum, so he kinda does.

Well, two things.

First, you should contact the guy who runs the forum and tell him amateurs are picking on you. And tell him you’re a real pro. Then cry a little, he’s an old softie. He’ll get those bad amateurs for you. (pink is the new color for baby talk)

Second, asking for free help to do amateur work and then calling someone you don’t know an amateur?

I’ve forgotten how much fun this can be. We need to have this guy stop by regularly for a blanket party.

I started to click on"Like", but then realized I don’t know what a blanket party is.

Have you seen “Full Metal Jacket?”

I have not.

I wonder where marianmadalin32 went to? I hope he’s coming back. He was fun to play with.

Still why build a replica of Jurca Mustang Replica?
Why not the real P-51?
The Jurca Mustang Replica is a flying wood P-51. If you want to build one and fly, yes. For static display? Why?
Would be cool to build flying wood F-14.

Free?.. hmm… although, it’s fun to play (something I had recently from a mesh file via SketchFab.
