At last I found you all

I was really missing everyone for a long long time and never imagined I could find a place like cadForum again.
I’m glad that I found you all at one place. Seeing so many familiar faces here is really a relief. I also want to thank all of those who put their effort to set this forum up and give us a place to learn.
I was under Tera user name in cadForum, from Japan, with a long carrier in CNC machines, old (63), mostly learning from your posts, and every now and then asking a question to solve my problems.

I tried to login with Tera and my password, but it seems that the combination of username/password in my password manager is not correct.
I tried to reset my password, but I didn’t receive any mail in the mail box I expected. I have several mail addresses (business, private, mobile, …)

Is it possible for anyone who is in charge (admin, moderator,…) check which mail address is registered for my account (Tera)? So I can reset my password?
Posting here or PM is OK.

I appreciate any kind of possible help to recover my account and accessing my solved questions.

Welcome back Tera. Summoning @JimSculley

Ok, with the quick help of @JimSculley I was able to reset my password.
I really appreciate it. Now I’m logged in as Tera, my previous username.

Thanks again.

I’ve merged your new account with your original, so the new account is now gone.

Thanks again.

Welcome back mate! @mp3-250 you have a fellow Japanese mate on the forums :stuck_out_tongue:

Glad that your back.

Tera, I believe you are the one who relied to my CadForum post on Reddit, right?

Yes, I am the one. It was your post there who helped me be back here.
Thanks again.

I just checked my email list from May, when a mass email was sent to all CADForum users notifying them about CADmunity. Your email was on that list, but I seem to recall that all the emails to the same domain as yours bounced. It was about 50 users out of 1500, so I did not follow up on the cause. Sorry about that.

I was lucky to find @gupta9665’s post in readit.
Others may not be as lucky as me.
If there’s a way to inform them about this forum, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. It’s never too late.

Just spread the word in your network, and anyone will similar likings/interest can join.

which is a good thing considering that japan is still relying on paper drawings in most industries, not even 2D CAD, just literally pen on paper.

I saw some government survey and it is astonishing that we are stuck in a limbo between the 80s and 90s.
