Add custom properties to part file

How do I add various properties to the pat file template? Would like to add the following for example.
Material
Finish:- select from a list
Mass

By editing propseed.txt (look at ‘Summary information’ section).

Material is already a property that is available and set when a Material is specified. You can also open Variable Table in your template, set the Filter to show Physical Properties and then set the option to expose Mass as a file property.

FYI, “Material” is under a MechanicalModeling property set that the Microsoft File Properties utilities do not show. It is however visible if using SE Property Manager. Mass once exposed shows as a Custom Property.
