Solid Edge Hole Wizzard in ordered

I am usung SE 2025 community edition.

Test Bracket.par (568 KB)

Can somebody please explain how to use the Hole Wizzard properly. For example changing hole type and adding more of the same hole. I am trying this in ordered at present. Also in the screenshot below I can’t figure out how to delete the 23.5 dimension. It is driven and I need to change it to driving.

A second question about ordered. Is there a way to rol back to the feature tree? I want to convert a fillet to a chamfer.

@Ronan1961 , not sure what you need regarding the Hole command as it is pretty straight forward. If you are asking how to edit an exist Hole feature, it works similar to other features.

  1. Select one of the Holes you previously placed and select Edit Profile. This will put you into the Sketch environment for Hole.
  2. Select the Hole Circle command. That will provide the Hole command bar with the Hole options button on it and allow placement of additional holes of the same type for that Hole feature.
  3. Click the Options button to change hole parameters for all holes placed for the Hole feature.

As to the dimension, if it was placed in the Hole sketch step, you should be able to access it there to switch it to driving. FYI, the dimension must be placed in the Hole sketch step with the hole circles you are trying to drive, otherwise if placed outside of this step, it will only be able to be driven.

Oh, I miss this so much about Solid Edge. Simply right click the feature you want to roll back to and select GoTo. Sliding the blue bar in SW isn’t that bad, but I like the way SE does it better is all. That was how 2019 worked, hope they didn’t change it.

Nope, “GoTo” still there.

There is a right click option, it rolls back above the selected feature which may be confusing at first.

Once rolled back, you can right click:

Welcome to the club that includes me of people that do not notice which forum the post is in , he’s using SolidEdge

I think Jason was correcting my lack of understanding of SW context menus. The functionality is there in SW, just looks different.
