i did some edits and then it removed some reference planes for some reason, so how can i re-add the reference plane, so that i could move and edit the 2nd sketch i drew? if i edit the distance to something else, then it just edits the number value in the small box, but doesnt change the model itself… and the old value in big letters is also still there…

is there any button to just re-add it or is it something more complex for some reason? its just a 2nd sketch like 15mm parallel from the main plane, but i cant even re-add it or change the distance value at all…

First, is this in Synchronous or Ordered mode?

If in Ordered, when you select your Sketch and Edit it, the Parallel Plane will be shown with it’s offset value dimension as shown below.

If in Synchronous, Planes are not parametric and can’t be controlled via dimension offset.

it was ordered, but the picture probably shows how to create a new parallel sketch, while when i tried to edit the big red number, it popped up a small editable number box, but it just did not change the number at all and just kept the same exact number that was already there… so i basically just had to delete the old sketch and just add a new working one…

No, the picture shows me Editing an existing Sketch and when the Dim is clicked, I can type a new value into the dialog box that comes up for the dim value and it will move based on the new value.
