Drag and Drop in feature manager hoses SW

I have several users that are reporting that if they try and drag features in the FM SolidWorks hangs up.



Curious if anyone has seen this happen. They always have to kill SW and restart to continue. Seems to be happening mostly on laptops like the HP Studio X360, but hard to say if it only happens on that platform.

I have seen this on a microsoft surface. We have a few engineers who use solidworks only intermittently, so they have surfaces…

And needless to say, they are NOT Solidworks friendly. No fix as far as I know except freeing up RAM.

Thanks for the reply sir, but this is happening on HP Studio X360 laptops, older laptops, newer laptops and HP desktops that are higher end…

Only started happening with SW2020, have a call schedules with VAR next week, hope they have thoughts…
